Listed below are the education related offerings in Graduate degree programs for the School of Science and Engineering:
English Language and Literature Teaching
The Master of Arts in English Language and Literature Teaching (MA ELLT) degree is designed for teachers of English language and literature in the secondary and tertiary levels. The regular program is for full-time and part-time graduate students who can take courses during the regular semesters.
The English Language and Literature Teaching degree is offered under a thesis option with 30 units worth of courses and a non-thesis option with 36 units worth of courses.
Pagtuturo ng Filipino
Bukas para sa lahat ng mag-aaral na nakapagtapos na ng kanilang kolehiyo sa anumang larangan, at nais magpakadalubhasa sa Panitikang Filipino. May ibinibigay na 50% diskuwento sa matrikula sa mga gurong papasok sa programa. Kinakailangan lamang magpasa ng sertipikasyong magpapatunay ng panunungkulan bilang guro sa pinaglilingkurang institusyon.
May mapagpipiliang dalawang daloy ng progama ang mag-aaral na papasok sa MA Panitikan Filipino: ang daloy na may tesis at ang daloy na walang tesis.
Religious Education
The Master in Religious Education (45 units, non-thesis track) is designed for students who would like to develop their pastoral skills for effective catechetical and religion teaching through additional practicum-oriented course work, and a capstone project that showcases their personal teaching philosophy and sample work.
The Master of Arts in Religious Education (36 units, thesis track) is designed for students who desire to pursue more advanced research in religious education through the development of a thesis. Acceptance into the thesis track is determined after the first summer, upon the evaluation of their written work. This program is especially suited to teachers in higher education, those who plan on doing doctoral studies, or those who would like to produce thesis-length catechetical materials.
