Pathways to Higher Education is a social involvement program of the Ateneo de Manila University that aims to develop ethical and discerning leaders committed to excellence and the service of the country. It aims to build a caring community where students can undergo values and leadership formation to holistically develop their fullest potential, discover their life’s purpose and become the agents of change our country needs. In a time where there are very few good role models for our young people, they will be part of a larger community of like-minded individuals who share the same values and desire to help the country.
Since 2002, it has successfully identified high potential high school students and equipped them with the necessary academic and leadership skills to become the next generation leaders. To date, it has a total of 257 participants currently undergoing the program and 380 alumni who are now creating impact in various sectors such as business, government, academe and the development sector.
